Terms of Use
Last updated September 25, 2026. By using Fab Path, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
Fab Path (fab-path.com and the Fab Path mobile app) offers lessons, quizzes, games, and practice on semiconductors, microfabrication, and devices. It is run by Kevin Medici ("Fab Path", "we", "us"). We may add, change, or remove content and features at any time.
Educational use only
Not a substitute for real training. Fab Path content is for general education. It is not professional engineering advice and does not replace your facility's safety training, standard operating procedures, chemical safety data sheets, or instructions from qualified staff. Never use anything here as the basis for handling chemicals, gases, or equipment.
Numbers and process details are typical or rounded values, and real processes vary by fab and tool. We work to keep content accurate, but we don't guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free. Check important figures against a primary source before relying on them for design or research.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, have a parent or guardian review these terms with you.
- Give a real email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can stop using Fab Path at any time, and delete your account yourself from the account menu, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Copy, republish, sell, or redistribute Fab Path's lessons, questions, illustrations, or games, in whole or in large part, without our written permission.
- Scrape the site in bulk, or use its content to train AI models or build a competing product.
- Try to break into other accounts, interfere with the site's operation, or get around its security.
- Send feedback that is abusive, unlawful, or spam.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Our content
The lessons, quiz questions, illustrations, games, code, and the Fab Path name and logo belong to Fab Path and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use them for your own learning, and teachers may link to or show Fab Path in class. Anything beyond that needs our permission; ask at kevin.eric.medici@gmail.com.
Company and product names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe where these skills are used. Fab Path is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Your feedback
If you send us ideas, corrections, or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve Fab Path without owing you anything. Thank you. They make the site better.
No warranty
Fab Path is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your saved progress will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fab Path and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell signed-in users before they take effect. Continuing to use Fab Path after that means you accept the new terms.
